Job Title:
Industrial Marketing Manager (Agricultural Inputs)

Location: Nigeria

The right candidate for this position will perform the following functions:

  • Oversee customer relationship management.
  • Foster close knit relationships with farmers to create farmer clusters,
  • Create community to enhance the relationships with farmers on a remote basis.
  • Build product and service knowledge across the companies.
  • Drive consumption beyond just loading Trade pipeline.
  • Analyze information collected across the territories and regions.
  • Mage industry and public communication requirements across the companies.
  • Manage third party marketing resources supporting industrial products and services.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities and Experience

  • Minimum B.Sc or HND preferably in a Business discipline.
  • Should have a blended sales and marketing background with work experience on industrial goods and services
  • Experience with marketing of agricultural products will be an advantage.
  • At least 4-5 years work experience.
  • Should have experience with organizing technical, industry association or expert
  • Authority fora, including workshops, seminars, conferences etc.
  • Must be good team player and be willing to travel nationwide.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under stress.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Should have strong people and networking skills.
  • Must be able to create and maintain relationship with customers and farmers
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a-wide variety of individuals and to resolve practical problems.
  • Must have basic selling skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and strong closer, with multi-tasking ability
  • Strong execution skill and capability to meet deadlines while delivering high quality work.
  • Regular media management and communication/creative capabilities.
